Moore Free & Charitable Clinic held their fourth annual Hands & Hearts Valentine's brunch on February 14, 2016 at the Carolina Hotel. This event was very successful and raised $15,650. Thanks to the 245 supporters who attended. Pictures of the event in The Pilot.

DINING IN THE PINES - Dining in the Pines™, an annual fundraiser for the past eleven years for the benefit of Moore Free Care Clinic took place this October! All guests made a contribution of $50.00 or more to attend and all amounts above $25.00 are tax deductible.

Over $38,000 was raised this year. ALL proceeds from the Dining in the Pines™ will help the Clinic continue its work to help our less fortunate neighbors who lack health insurance and cannot afford needed medical care. Many Moore County residents struggle with chronic illnesses like diabetes and heart disease that require consistent medical management that the Clinic provides. Last year alone, this Primary Care Facility managed 3,684 patient visits. Every dollar donated provides $18.00 worth of services!

Click to see the RAFFLE BASKETS    The Dining in the Pines Committee is raffling off 14 baskets for the benefit of the Moore Free Care Clinic. Tickets can be purchase by contacting Debbie Whitley at the Clinic at 910-246-5333. Tickets were sold at 5 tickets for $20.00, cash or checks made out to Moore Free Care Clinic. All proceeds go to the Moore Free Care Clinic. Basket values range from $350-1,000.00 Drawing will be held Sunday, November 15th and winners will be notified immediately.

Free Over the Counter Medicine Give Away Day

The Pinewild Country Club Charity tournament on May 6 raised $26,000 to help Moore Free Care Clinic provide free and low cost medical services to the low income uninsured of Moore County. The clinic gratefully thanks sponsors, hole sponsors, auction item donors and participants.

Moore Free Care Clinic had their third annual Hands and Hearts Fundraiser Brunch at the Carolina Hotel in the Cardinal Room on Feb. 15, 2015 and raised $6,200. Thanks to all those who supported this fundraiser.

2014 Dining in the Pines

After a few years hiatus, Dining in the Pines was held this October. Over 500 people participated by hosting or attending an event and donating to the clinic. Over $38,000 was raised. Our wonderful sponsors also helped our cause:

The Second Annual Hands and Hearts Brunch

Friends of the Moore Free Care Clinic held a special Valentine's Day themed brunch to help support the healing hands and hearts in our community who provide health care to the low income uninsured of Moore County.

Holiday Gift Card Fundraiser

The Holiday Gift Card Fundraiser provided a way of giving a gift that reflects the “real meaning of the season” by making a donation to The Moore Free Care Clinic in honor of someone this holiday season.

The Radiothon was held on March 15. Moore Free Care Clinic utilized local media and business partners to launch a one day community-wide public awareness and funding campaign. Moore Free Care Clinic (MFCC) provides primary care services to the uninsured in Moore County and is the only free health care facility in the county. MFCC is unique in that it provides care for short-term illnesses and minor injuries, continuing care for chronic and ongoing illnesses, prescription medication, mental health care and specialty care including dentistry referral.

The First HeartAnnual Hands and Hearts Event was held on Sunday February 10, 2013.
